The CRA is working with the City of Lauderhill and the Lauderhill Housing Authority on a redevelopment plan for the area around the old City Hall building on NW 55 Avenue. The conceptual site plan is shown below:

Elements of the plan already completed or underway include:
- Renovation of the Windermere Recreation Center into a new parks building
- Establishment of a police substation at Windermere Recreation Center
- Purchase of 4 townhouse buildings on NW 19 Street and NW 18 Court by the Lauderhill Housing Authority
- Purchase of vacant property on southwest corner of NW 19 Street and NW 55 Avenue for incorporation into new City Park
Future elements of the plan include:
- 13 single family homes to be constructed on
the former City Hall site
- Construction of a community pool and recreation building on the site of the current City garage on the northwest corner of NW 19 Street and NW 55 Avenue
- Conversion of NW 19 Street between the Turnpike and NW 55 Avenue into a pedestrian greenway and park
- Continuation of Renaissance Park landscape theme along NW 55 Avenue south of NW 19 Street
